La Martiniere World School (LMWS) is situated at Shripatpur near Sampatchak, Patna, Bihar on Patna-Gaya N.h.-32 about 4.5 kms from zero mile (N.H.-30), Sprawling 6 acres of campus in the historical ancient city of Patliputra, Bihar. LMWS was established in 2015, under the aegis of (“NAV JIVAN CHARITABLE TRUST” Reg. No. 25/11-12), A-31 Sachiwalay Colony, Kankarbagh, Patna-800020.

With a single minded pursuit to spread the light of quality education among the students the idea of establishing LA MARTINIERE WORLD SCHOOL was mooted by the visionary Director LMWS in 2015. Education, in close partnership with parental responsibility is what moulds our students into responsible and respectable citizens equipped with the necessary skills to contribute in a meanigle way to the community at large. With a qualified and enthusiastic band of teachers a sincere and committed school Principal Dr.Sanjay Kumar Sinha is leading the school from one milestone to another as a true leader to endeavor the vibrant growth of a student into a responsible citizen of the country and the world.

At LA MARTINIERE WORLD SCHOOL, a number of measures have been taken to prevent sexual offence with children as per the norms of POCSO Act 2012.

01. There is a provision of complaint suggestion boxes to be accessed by the children at each floor.

02. There is continuous CCTV surveillance through 80 cameras installed to cover the entire area of the campus.

03. A school complaint committee has been constituted to address the complaints of the children.

04. The centralized child helpline number 1098 has been displayed at different places and has been popularized to encourage the children to be vocal for their safety.

05. One counselor has been appointed for monitoring and identifying the cases.

06. Apart from aforesaid aspirations, a number of activities workshops and induction programs have been organized for empowerment of girl children. Also to sensitized the girls towards good touch and bad touch a video KOMAL (both in Hindi and English), prescribed by CBSE, shown to them at different occasions.

Academic and Co-Curricular Activities

We are fully aware of the fact that education is not merely completing course, conducting exam and declaring result. It is much more than that. It is preparation of a child for life. Equal emphasis is laid on both academics and co-curricular activities. And our school has shown commendable achievement both in academics and co-curricular activities. Our school has been placed in the very good category of school at national level for its spectacular performance both in std VIII C.C.E Education Board Exam.

Students participates in assembly activities everyday in the form of thoughts presentation, news reading, G.K Quiz and declamation.

Our students participate in various competitions like essay, quiz, dance, painting, sports activities etc both at the state and national level.

Assembly and Moral Education

To inculcate moral values in the students, the school starts each working day with the morning assembly, that includes recitation of Veda-mantra, Devotional songs, school anthem and thought for the day. Stress is laid on the universal aspects and eternal values of traditional Indian culture. Short speeches are given by the students, and news are read out daily. Every morning the assembly disperses with the singing of the National Anthem. It is our prayer to God that may our students and the LMWS flourish ever more, shedding the light of knowledge all over world. 05. Inculcation of moral values by teaching compulsorily the value oriented education. Hawan is performed on every Saturday and Vedic-Initiation Camps are held every year.

07. Holding of Parents – Teacher meet at regular intervals.

08. Compulsory Computer education.

09. Due stress is given on character building.

10. Regular assigning and checking of home work.
